Valentine’s Day

Ahh, Valentine’s Day. What a horrible, money-scheming, make-every-guy-look-like-a-jerk-if-he-doesn’t-get-her-a-diamond-ring holiday. Thankfully this year we were in New York, so that in itself is BETTER than a diamond ring, right? Unless you lived in New York, of course, then it would just be another day. Or would it? Anyway (I dunno), Clare and I ventured off to Central Park Zoo, Fifth Avenue, Serendipity, Dylan’s Candy Bar, then finally (at 11pm) we went to the top of the Empire State – a Sleepless in Seattle moment.
